Mary is a seasoned litigation attorney licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin.  She has defended commercial clients in a variety of cases including negligence, wrongful death, premises and products liability, and biometric privacy (BIPA) claims. Mary is adept at guiding cases from pre-suit evaluations and negotiations through trial or arbitration, and regularly engages in mediation to achieve favorable settlements. She is valued for her thorough investigations, strategic litigation planning, and strong client relationships, particularly with insurance carriers and their insureds.  Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of claims including professional negligence, wrongful death, gender violence, and complex insurance disputes. She also has experience defending state agencies, having served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Illinois Office of the Attorney General.
