Neha Tannan

PROFILE

​

Neha Tannan is a partner at Ford & Britton, P.C. where she primarily specializes in complex construction litigation defending general contractors and subcontractors across the Chicagoland area. She has been a litigator since 2012. She handles all aspects of litigation from start to finish in both state and federal court. She tried two jury trials in Lake County and Cook County. One resulted in a defense verdict and one in a verdict that was less than the offer extended. 

 

Neha is also dedicated to access to justice initiatives in the local community. Since 2012, Neha has volunteered at the Cyriac D. Kappil Indo-American Pro Bono Legal Clinic in Rogers Park where she devotes her time to providing accessible and bilingual legal services for members of Chicago’s low-income South Asian community. Neha handles everything from immigration to family law matters as a volunteer. For her work at the Indo-American Clinic, Neha received the 2019 Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ Pro Bono Clinic award.

Neha believes in the advancement of diversity in the legal profession. In 2019, Neha was named one of the Advocates for Diversity awarded by the Diversity Scholarship Foundation. Lastly, she previously served terms as the Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Community Affairs for the South Asian Bar Association of Chicago.


Neha received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in International Studies and Political Science. She received her juris doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Neha’s hobbies include traveling, playing with her two nephews, watching the Wisconsin Badgers, and downhill skiing.
