Jim is a founding partner of Ford & Britton, PC and has been practicing law as a trial attorney for over 30 years, primarily in the area of insurance defense. He maintains a practice in all aspects of general insurance defense work, including premises liability, construction, transportation, and appeals.

Jim has represented many religious and not-for-profit entities throughout Illinois in the full range of personal injury, premises liability and other tort matters, such as, defamation and invasion of privacy.  He has also had considerable experience in defending sexual abuse and molestation claims, including claims with multiple victims and significant exposure beyond insurance coverage.
